Voluntary forest certification
We take a responsible approach to fulfillment of all applicable Russian requirements of forest certification systems and legislation to our chain of custody and production of finished goods.
Our company has its own forest management standards in place, as well as the chain of custody and production procedure standard.
Syktyvkarskiy LPK took an active part in development of the National System for Forest Certification (NSFC) and was among the first to get a certificate of this System.
Our commitment to sustainability, as well as transparency and legal origin of wood are regularly confirmed by independent external audits.
Our projects
Educational cluster on sustainable forest management
In 2023, we created a unique educational platform for representatives of forest industry where we have been sharing our long experience on sustainable forest management.
The educational process is arranged at one of our forest lease areas. With support of the experts we created demonstration routes showing the sequence of logical forest development over time.
For several days the program participants study preservation of biodiversity, ecological forest functions and reforestation in the field.
This project has become a platform not only for knowledge transfer, but also for working out new advanced solutions on long-term and careful use of forest resources.
