«Choosing the future with SLPK! Staying in the Komi Republic!»
Syktyvkarskiy LPK is implementing its occupational guidance project Choosing the future with SLPK! Staying in the Komi Republic! with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Komi Republic. From the 24th to the 30th of March about forty teenagers (15-17 years olds) from orphan asylums of the Komi Republic will take part in the sixth session of the project housed by summer camp Orlyonok located near Syktyvkar.

We are looking for motivated, engaged and active employees», — said Klaus Peller, Managing Director of SLPK, at the camp session opening.
The program covers workshops, meetings with managers and specialists of Syktyvkarskiy LPK, mill tours, visits to the educational institutions of Syktyvkar, and entertaining activities. Experts of Syktyvkarskiy LPK and trainers of Syktyvkar State University named after Peterim Sorokin conduct the program. The participants get certificates at the end of the session.

The world is rapidly changing, and it is likely, that the today’s schoolgoers will have to acquire not just one, but two or three specializations. If you want to be a sought-after specialist, you should never stop learning; you should also expand your horizons, analyze your natural aptitudes, and work hard», — emphasized Darya Kodaneva, Head of HR Recruitment and Development of SLPK.
Project history:
2019 — the occupational guidance project welcomed 300 teenagers of the 9th and the 11th grade from Ezhva schools.
2020 — 700 Syktyvkar schoolgoers participated in the project online.
2021 — 300 teenagers from Gymnasium named after A.S.Pushkin took part in the project.
2022 — an occupational guidance camp session at Orloynok camp was organized for 50 teenagers of 8-11 grades from schools of the Komi Republic municipalities and Syktyvkar..
2023 — an occupational guidance camp session was organized for 50 teenagers of 8-11 grades from the Komi Republic municipalities at Young Talent Academy, the Regional Center Identifying and Supporting Komi Republic Children Talented in Art, Sport, and Science.
