Syktyvkarskiy LPK participated in river band 2024

Employees of SLPK took part in the environmental event River Band dedicated to shoreline cleanups helping the republican water bodies. Nine hectares of shoreline along the Vychegda River near Ezhva beach were made free of 10 cubic meters of trash.

Participating in River Band is a long tradition of Syktyvkarskiy LPK. The trash was separately collected and sorted into categories by recyclability, then it was forwarded to a collection point for further recycling.

«Taking part in River Band is our contribution into protection of the environment. We see more and more volunteers every year, and that is very encouraging. I would like to thank all the environmentally conscious colleagues!» said Dmitry Karavaev, Environmental Manager of the mill.

Not only SLPK employees but also their families participated in the huge cleanup of the Ezhva beach. This year the event had a form of a team game, and the most active volunteers won useful and tasty prizes.
